"The Teddy Bear"

Abraham was a big teddy bear in a grizzly bearÕs body. Standing tall at around 6Õ4ÕÕ, and built like a tank, most people give him room and look at him cautiously. But he always had an intimidation that came without trying, and his true nature was not one of a mean guy but of the exact opposite. Abraham always had a goofy smile on his face, and never seemed to be in a bad mood. His calm face and expression made him trustworthy, and being that combination of both large and kind made him even more loved by everyone around him. However, when something was bugging him, anyone could tell--it looked like a parasite was eating his stomach from the inside, and his usually kind face was twisted in a glare until the issue was solved. His dream was to become a firefighter, no matter what it took. However, after spending quite a few years in the academy and learning everything that needs to be known, he applied for graduation-- but his application was never processed completely and he ultimately ÒfailedÓ the process. He was never told what went wrong by the powers-at-be, or whomever checked the applications, but he thinks he managed to figure out that it was insurance confusion. He was frustrated for weeks, and especially after the struggles he had to deal with because of terrible college and career counseling he had in college, and was forced to wait a year, stay at the advertising job available to him, and wait it out before being able to apply to become a firefighter again.
